In Egypt, Uto is the same as Buto.
Uto (宇土市; -shi) is a city located in Kumamoto, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 38,158 and the density of 514.47 persons per km². The total area is 74.17 km².
The city was founded on October 1, 1958.
