Depa Billaba
Homeworld Coruscant
Species Chalactan
Gender Female
Height 1.68 meters
Weapon Lightsaber
Vehicle Jedi Starfighter
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Dipika O'Neill Joti

Depa Billaba is a Jedi Consular Master and Jedi Council member, and she was the padawan of Jedi Master Mace Windu. The two of them, along with Sora Bulq, are the only 3 Jedi to master Vaapad, a form of fighting with the lightsaber (see the seven forms of lightsaber combat). The respected Windu saved her from the space pirates that killed her parents. To honor her slain family, Depa embraced the culture of Chalacta, making her attuned to the minds and personalities of her peers in the Council Chamber. Decorating the bridge of her nose were Chalcactan marks of illumination, testament to her spirituality. She was a calm but powerful presence on the High Council.

During the Battle of Geonosis, Billaba looked after the "younglings," while the other Jedi were dispatched to fight.

Later, Depa was assigned to Mace's homeworld of Haruun Kal to assist the Korunnai natives with their guerilla warfare tactics in an effort to relinquish the Separatist hold on the system. Tragically, the constant conflict between the jungle natives and the Balawai prospectors in combination with the environment's own lethal nature drove Depa into the darkness of the jungle. Mace, after considerable effort, was able to extract Depa from Haruun Kal. However, Depa never recovered from the dark, catatonic state that she fell into after making an attempt to end her own life.

He managed to survive the Great Jedi Purge but at the cost of being severely injured by Darth Vader in a ship battle, which sent him hurtling through a gas nebula near Nar Shadaa. However the Ganathans saved him, gave him a cyborg body, and made him their king. He returned from his self-imposed exile when the Solos, when fleeing from bounty hunters, stumbled upon his hidden world, and informed him that Vader was long gone. Brand decided that he should aid Luke in his attempts to restore the Jedi Order; he proved instrumental during the events of Dark Empire in defeating Dark Siders on New Alderaan. Soon he fell to the dark side of the Force. Empatojayos died on Onderon when he sacrificed himself to save the baby Anakin Solo from being filled with the essence and mind of the Emperor's clone, Empatojayos intercepted Palpatine's spirit preventing the Emperor from taking power from young Anakin Solo while also trying to come back to the light side of the Force. Unfortunately Palpatine took Empatojayos Brand's spirit with him into death.

He was remembered as one of the greatest lightsaber duelists the order had ever known, having aided Master Windu in perfecting Vaapad (see the seven forms of lightsaber combat). However, he had not mastered the form; rather it had mastered him, as he fell to the dark side. He would later fight his old friend and mentor, Jedi Master Mace Windu, but was nearly killed and managed to escape Windu.

Later in the Clone Wars, Sora Bulq led a Morkugai army against Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis and managed to strike him down. Sora was eventually cut down by four Jedi members of Rancisis' task force.

Callista

Star Wars character
Callista
Homeworld Chad
Species Human
Gender Female
Height Unknown
Weapon Lightsaber
Vehicle {{{vehicle}}}
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic, New Republic
Film portrayer N/A

Callista is a Jedi Knight from the time of the Old Republic. She discovered a well-hidden secret Imperial installation, the Eye of Palpatine (a sort of proto-Death Star, though with nowhere near the firepower) and attempted to sabotage or destroy it; when she failed and died, she used her talents in the Force to essentially 'haunt' the station's central computer. She remained there for thirty years, until Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and several other New Republic Jedi discovered the station and assisted her in destroying it. During the process, the two fell in love, and just prior to the station's destruction, Callista traded bodies with one of the other Jedi, Cray Mingla, or, as Han Solo called her, "the blonde with the legs." Unfortunately the process cut her off from the Force. Later experiments, though, found her still in touch with the dark side. Eventually she left on a quest to find a compromise to her powers, and the two are considered distinctly separated (especially in light of Skywalker's marriage to Mara Jade).

He was one of the three brave Jedi Masters assigned to protect Chancellor Palpatine including himself, Shaak Ti, and Foul Moudama during the start of the Battle of Coruscant from General Grievous. Cin Drallig was a Jedi Master in the years during and previous to the Clone Wars. He was a legendary lightsaber master and instructor. In the novelization of Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, it is revealed that Yoda trained him in the lighstaber, and he in turn trained Obi-Wan. Though he was not a member of the Jedi Council, his dueling abilities rivaled those of the Council members. In Revenge of the Sith, his apprentice, Serra Keto, was Force choked by Darth Vader during his purge of the Jedi Temple. Cin Drallig's dueling skills, as good as they were, were no match for Lord Vader's skills; he fended him off with one hand (specifically his robotic hand) and slew him. He was one of the Jedi seen murdered by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda over the security holograms in the temple. At the time of his murder, Cin knew Vader as Anakin Skywalker, hero of the Republic.

He is played in the film by Nick Gillard, the stunt choreographer for the Star Wars movies, and his name is Gillard's spelled backwards. In several interviews, Gillard has stated that he would destroy Anakin in a real life duel. He is seen only briefly by hologram.

Eerin, Bant

Star Wars character
Bant Eerin
Homeworld Mon Calamari
Species Mon Calamari
Gender female

Vehicle Jedi Starfighter
Affiliation Jedi Order, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer Unknown

Jedi Knight Bant Eerin is a childhood friend of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Kit Fisto took her as his apprentice after Bant's first master, Tahl, was killed. (Incidentally, Qui-Gon Jinn and Tahl were secretly in love, and his wanting to seek revenge for her murder nearly turned him to the Dark Side.) Being of the fish-like Mon Calamari species, Bant likes to be around water, and the atmosphere of her quarters at the Jedi Temple was always kept misty and humid. Bant was nearly killed by Xanatos, Qui-Gon's first apprentice who turned to the Dark Side. Obi-Wan was the one who saved her life. During the Battle of Geonosis, Bant flew her Jedi Starfighter in the space battle that raged above the planet, alongside Adi Gallia and Adi's former Padawan Siri Tachi. Bant was killed in the Purge of Jedi.

Kit Fisto is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe, who appears in the prequel movies Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Master Kit Fisto wielded a green lightsaber and practiced the Form I style of Lightsaber combat (also known as Shii-Cho). He was one of the five Jedi who commanded the others at the Battle of Geonosis, along with Mace Windu, Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli, and her apprentice, Barriss Offee. (Please note that some sources cite four jedi as leading others on Geonosis, omitting Barriss Offee. This seems more likely.)

Kit Fisto was also one of three Jedi Masters who were killed whilst trying to arrest Chancellor Palpatine, after finding out the Chancellor was really a Sith Lord. Fisto, along with Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin, were eventually killed by Palpatine during the arrest attempt. A beautiful Jedi Master from the planet Corellia, Adi Gallia was a member of the Jedi Council during the Battle of Naboo and the Battle of Geonosis ten years later. A skilled pilot, she was among those who tested the new Jedi Starfighter and flew in air support above Geonosis along with her former padawan, Siri Tachi. Adi was killed in the middle of the Clone Wars by General Greivous.

One of Adi's most distinguishing features is her unorthodox lightsaber style. She holds her lightsaber in a reverse grip resulting in wide, long swings.

Adi Gallia has a cousin, Stass Allie, who is similar in dress and appearance.

Master Gallia was killed by General Grievous, late in the Clone Wars.

Gi, Sha'a

Star Wars character

Height 1.85 meters
Weapon Lightsaber
Vehicle Jedi Starfighter
Affiliation Jedi, Galactic Republic
Film portrayer John DiMaggio

Sha'a Gi was a human Jedi during the Clone Wars and was one of the Jedi to first encounter General Grievous. He was jumpy and relied on his master to keep him calm. When his master died he rushed out to the body and was easily killed by Grievous. Like the others killed in the Battle of Hypori, his lightsaber became an addition to Grievous' trophy collection.

Sha'a Gi's name is a reference to Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, and although the characters do bear startling resemblance to each other, it's unclear if this was the original intent, or if it was a joke that was later created once the resemblance was noted.

Amusingly, he was played by the swordmaster in charge of choreography for the film, Nick Gillard- which is "Cin Drallig" backwards). During the Great Jedi Purge, instituted by Order 66, she faced off with Darth Vader in a languorous duel, upon his unceremonious intrusion of the Jedi Temple. Later it was modified so as to hover, and follow him around, flying. Being a Wookiee, Lowbacca is a rarity among Jedi as Force-sensitives are less common among Wookiees than among other species, one being born only every century or so. Near the end of the Clone Wars, Whie returned to Vjun at the age of thirteen in the company of Master Yoda, who had come to parley with Separatist leader Count Dooku. For the past several weeks, Whie's dreams had been plagued with visions of the future, visions which all eventually came true. Including his death at the hands of a Jedi.

Saesee Tiin was mistakenly reported to have been killed during the Battle of Geonosis - this error was later attributed to the confusion of wartime journalism.

Master Tiin appears as a tall, brown skinned humanoid with long, inwardly curved horns on each side of his head. In the Expanded Universe, Tinn is identified as a member of the Iktotchi race with telepathic abilities and superb Force-enhanced piloting skills.

In The Phantom Menace, Saesee Tiin is seen with the Jedi Council and as a mourner at Qui-Gon Jinn's funeral on Naboo. Attack of the Clones sees Saesee Tiin as a participant in the Battle of Geonosis, the opening battle of the Clone Wars. Saesee Tiin also appeared in the second volume of the Clone Wars cartoon, where upon Master Mace Windu's orders, he led a battalion of clone troopers into the heated space battle above Coruscant with Kel Dor Jedi Master and Council member, Plo Koon. He boarded a Separatist cruiser and seized it with his troops.

In Revenge of the Sith, Saesee Tiin one of four Jedi Masters attempting to arrest Chancellor Palpatine after learning that he is actually a Sith Lord. He is eventually killed by Palpatine whilst trying to arrest him. Jedi Masters Kit Fisto and Agen Kolar would soon join him. Tiin is the second to die, after Kolar, and before Fisto.
