USS Morris

Several ships in the United States Navy have been named USS Morris for Robert Morris and Charles Morris.
- The first Morris was captured as a prize and then purchased by the Continental Congress, but destroyed in August of 1779.
- The second Morris was a schooner which operated on the Mississippi River during the American Revolutionary War.
- The third Morris was a despatch boat during the Mexican-American War in service in 1846.
- The fourth Morris was a schooner captured in October 1846 and sold in 1848.
- The fifth Morris (TB-14) was commissioned in 1898 and decommissioned in 1919.
- The sixth Morris (DD-271) was a Clemson-class destroyer, commissioned in 1919 and decommissioned in 1922.
- The seventh Morris (DD-417) was a Sims-class destroyer, commissioned in 1940 and decommissioned in 1945.
- The eighth Morris (PC-1179) was commissioned as PC-1179 in 1943 and decommissioned in 1946. She was renamed Morris in 1956 and struck from the Navy list in 1960.
