USS Galaxy

USS Galaxy (NCC-70637) was the pathfinder of its class in the Star Trek fictional universe.
The ship's components shared much in common with the Nebula class.
For the first few years of her career, the starship Galaxy found her accomplishments overshadowed by Enterprise-D's adventures and the destruction of the Yamato, but her legend began finally to grow when she distinguished herself in combat in the Dominion War, notably as part of the fleet that took the Chin'toka system during the invasion of Cardassian space in 2374.
In 2379, the Galaxy was part of Battle Group Omega sent to intercept the Reman ship Scimitar.
