Twiztid

Twiztid is a band on the label of Psycopathic Records.

Biography

The demented duo known as Twiztid consists of James Spainolo and Paul Methric. They started out as Mr. Bones and Hektik in the band House of Krazees around 1993 with an artist known as The R.O.C. However, around 1997 or '98 they parted with The R.O.C. and became Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child and formed Twiztid.

The House of Krazees released around 6 albums before parting, and Twiztid recorded Mostasteless in 1998. The album, however was pulled from store shelves by Island Records due to the controversial album cover. Songs were removed, the cover was changed and the album was re-released. Twiztid left Island, but stayed with Psychopathic and put together some obscure songs and songs that were removed from Mostasteless and released the Cryptic Collection 1 in 1999. After touring with the Insane Clown Posse for a bit they locked themselves in the studio until the First Annual Gathering of the Juggalos. After the Gathering and some more touring they released Freek Show in 2000.The Freek Show tour lasted for about six months before Twiztid put together the Cryptic Collection 2 with more obscure songs and a sampler of the "Super Group" Dark Lotus. After an all out Psychopatic Tour, Twiztid...disappeared.

No one knew what had happened to them. And if someone did, they weren't telling. Rumours of a side group known as Black Magic surfaced, one song, "Wrong With Me," was released, and that was that. While it was true fans wanted more Black Magic, they also wanted new Twiztid. The era of Mirror/Mirror had arrived. Some more tours and various EP's later. Twiztid, once again, went into hiding. Juggalos craved more, and just kept waiting. Then...the era of The Green Book hit us all. The Green Book was the most personal album for Twiztid by far. And now they have gone into hiding again and started recording Man's Myth/Mutant, a double album to be released later this year. Until then, this is all we know.

Man's Myth and Mutant are slated for relase in the summer of 2005. Man's Myth will be a rap album, while Mutant will be a rock album.
