Trelleborg is a global industrial group whose leading positions are based on advanced polymer technology and in-depth applications know-how. The company develops high-performance solutions that damp, seal and protect in demanding industrial environments. The number of employees is 22,000.
Trelleborg AB was founded as Gummifabriks AB in 1905. The company had about 1,000 employees 1935, about 3,000 employees 1955 and 6,900 employees 1975. The firm renamed to Trelleborg AB in the year 1977.
