Tom Price, Western Australia

Tom Price is an industrial town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It is primarily an iron ore mining town. The town is named after nearby Mount Tom Price, which was in turn named after an employee of Rio Tinto Southern Pty Ltd who was involved in the early development of the iron ore mining industry in the Pilbara.
