Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) is a chemical compound from the group of isocyanates. It is used as monomer feedstock for polyurethane production.
TDI can react with an alcohol to produce a urethane linkage. It is reactive and toxic. Exposure to TDI and its vapors should be avoided.
