The Tion Hegemony is a fictional area of space in the Star Wars galaxy. It was the pocket empire of the infamous tyrant, Xim the Despot.
Known as the Ancient and Honorable Union of the Tion Hegemony, this sector of the Tion Cluster is a collection of 27 star systems. It is far from the Core Worlds, but embraces some of the oldest and most ancient human civilizations in the galaxy. During the early years before the Old Republic, the Tion Hegemony was ruled by Xim the Despot. Before Xim, the Livien League controlled the Hegemony. As the Republic grew and the Tion Hegemony was "liberated," the sector saw a decline it its fortunes. However, the Hegemony remained the breadbasket of the Tion, providing foodstuffs for all three of the Tion's sectors.
