Synopsis
Major details of the story are currently unknown. Known minor details include:
- Vimes is trying to get home from work in time to read a children's book to his son--and fills the book in with people he met during the day. ("Is that my cow? It goes 'Buggrit. Millenium hand and shrimp.' That is not my cow. That is Foul Ole Ron.")
- Cecil Wormsborough Saint John Nobbs has acquired a girlfriend--an exotic dancer who was impressed when Nobby put an IOU in her garter.
On Paul Kidby's Homepage is a short reference to it though. The game Thud will be featured in the book. As for the story, apparently it is about the murder of a dwarf in Ankh-Morpork and the old rivalry of dwarfs and trolls might come back if Vimes can't solve it quickly.
