The Firm (book)
From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.
John Grisham's first novel, A Time to Kill, was only marginally successful and did not bring the author to the attention of the general public. Grisham's second novel, 1991's legal thriller The Firm, was his first widely recognized piece of work. Two years later, in 1993, a movie adaptation starring Tom Cruise was released.
