The Brethren is a law-related novel by American author John Grisham, published in 2000.
An earlier book by American journalist Bob Woodward, also called The Brethren (1979), is a nonfiction look behind the scenes of the United States Supreme Court during Warren Burger's years as Chief Justice of the United States.
