Tewoflos or Theophilus) (throne name Walda Ambasa) was negus (1 July 1708 - 14 October 1711) of Ethiopia, and a member of the Solomonid dynasty. He was the brother of Iyasus I.

Tewoflos became king following the murder of his nephew Tekle Haymanot I. He initiated the canonization of his brother Iyasus I.

His reign was an unquiet one. In 1709, Nebahne Yohannes was proclaimed negus in a revolt that lasted until July of 1710.
