Tenor saxophone

The tenor saxophone is one of the larger members of the saxophone family invented by Adolphe Sax. A tenor saxophone is tuned in the key of B-flat.
The saxophone family ranges from sopranissimo, sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass, contrabass, and subcontrabass.
The tenor saxophone has a rich sound and is generally used in Jazz and Concert band. Commonly used for solos, the tenor saxophone is a main instrument in Jazz.
