The Talking Mudcrab is a creature in the video game The Elder Scrolls, Chapter III - Morrowind. The Talking Mudcrab, as its name implies, is a Mudcrab that can talk. The mudcrab is one of the weakest creatures in Morrowind; they normally live along coasts.
Importance of the Talking Mudcrab
The Talking Mudcrab may be seen as a trivial Easter egg added in by the developers, but it actually serves a useful function. The Talking Mudcrab is a merchant and carries a huge amount of gold compared to the other merchants in Morrowind province. Another good thing about the Talking Mudcrab is that he'll buy things for market value (or greater). He is similar to the character Creeper in Caldera, except that the Creeper has only 5000 gold, whereas the Mudcrab has 10000 gold.
Location
The Talking Mudcrab is located east of Vivec in the Bal Fel region. In the Bal Fel region it can be found on the small island which is directly south-east of Mzahnch.
