The Syng inkstand was the inkstand used to sign the United States Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.
It was made by Philip Syng in 1752. He was a renowned silversmith and created fine works in silver and sometimes gold for leading families in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
