Sydlangeland municipality

Sydlangeland municipality, is a municipality in central Denmark, in the county of Funen. The municipality covers an area of 121 km², and has a total population of 4,288. Main city and site of municipal-council, is Humble.

Formed in 1966 from the following parishes;

Fodslette Sogn (Langelands Sønder Herred)
Humble Sogn (Langelands Sønder Herred)
Lindelse Sogn (Langelands Sønder Herred)
Magleby Sogn (Langelands Sønder Herred)
Tryggelev Sogn (Langelands Sønder Herred)

By January 1, 2007 Sydlangeland municipality will cease to exists as it will combined with Tranekær and Rudkøbing municipality to form a new Langeland municipality.
