Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Stephen Thomas Erlewine is a music journalist and the Senior Editor for All Music Guide. He is the author of thousands of artist biographies and record reviews, as well as a freelance writer, and has written several liner notes.

He studied at the University of Michigan, where he majored in English and was music editor (1993-94) and then arts editor (1994-95) of the school's mewspaper, the Michigan Daily.

He is the nephew of musician and All Music Guide founder Michael Erlewine.
