Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith: The Video Game is a 2005 video game based on the movie of the same name. It centers around Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker as the Clone Wars come to an end. There are seventeen levels, interlaced with over twelve minutes of footage from the movie. It was released on May 5, 2005, for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. Additionally, a version was made available for mobile phones on April 2, and a PlayStation Portable release is scheduled for later in 2005.
The game was aided in development by Nick Gillard, the stunt coordinator and lightsaber fight trainer for Episodes I, Episode II, and Episode III. In fact, Nick Gillard's own character from the movie, Cin Drallig, appears in the game as a boss.
When playing the game as Anakin, the character develops as he learns new moves and increases his power while he is being seduced by the dark side. The game also includes a level where the player can play as Anakin on Mustafar and fight Obi-Wan, which has an alternate ending at the end.
In addition to the story levels, there are bonus levels and characters the player can unlock and play as, such as Yoda, General Grievous, and Darth Vader.
There is also a versus mode where you can play as any character against a computer or other player. There are also 4 co-op missions that you can unlock.
An added bonus level is the player taking on the role as Darth Vader as he had his final encounter with Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Episode IV: A New Hope (1977).
The Nintendo DS version is notable for being a port of the GBA version, which is strange seeing as the DS versions of tie-in games are usually quite different from the GBA versions.
