Staffanstorp is a municipality and town in Scania in southernmost Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 107.8 km².
The population has in 2002 exceeded 20,000.
In the municipality there are two villages which have grown to suburbs, Staffanstorp with 13,600 inhabitants and Hjärup with 3,500 inhabitants, which both are typical residential districts dominated by detached houses build in the second half of the 20th century, wherefrom most people commute for work in the nearby cities of Lund and Malmö.
Uppåkra, the previous location for the city of Lund, is located between Hjärup and Staffanstorp.
