St. John's Maple Leafs

The St. John's Maple Leafs were the American Hockey League affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, based in St. John's, Newfoundland.
The 2005-2006 season was the final season that the hockey team will play in St. John's, and move to Ricoh Coliseum at the Canadian National Exhibition grounds in Toronto as the Toronto Marlies.
The team played out of St. John's from 1991-2005. St. John's will now have a QMJHL hockey team starting in the 2005-2006 season. The team will be knowen as the St. John's Fog Devils, and will play out of Mile One Stadium.
