Srinagar (city)

Srinagar is a city in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is situated in the valley of Kashmir, on both banks of the Jehlum. It is the summer capital of the state government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The city was founded by the King Pravarasena over 2,000 years ago.
