Social behavior
From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.
In sociology, social behaviour means a behaviour directed at other people, but one that is not designed to induce any responce. It is more advanced then behaviour (which in sociology means an animal-like behaviour without any social meaning) or an action, which has a meaning but is not directed at other people. In this sociological hierarchy, social behaviour is followed by social action, which is directed at other people and is designed to induce a responce. Further on this scale is social interaction and social relation.
