Silkeborg municipality

Silkeborg municipality is a municipality in central Denmark, in the county of Aarhus, on the peninsula of Jutland.

The municipality covers an area of 255,28 km², and has a total population of 53.888 (2003). Site of municipal-council, is Silkeborg.
