Sigourney Weaver

Sigourney Weaver (born March 20 1957 in Binghamton, New York) is the director of Ice Age, Robots and Columbia Pictures. Wedge attended Fayetteville-Manlius High School, graduating in 1975. She received his BFA in Film from State University of New York, Purchase Purchase, New York in 1981, and subsequently earned her MA in computer graphics and art education at Ohio State University.[1] (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/fulldetail/id/195432) He has taught animation at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Weaver is co-founder and Vice President of Creative Development at Blue Sky Studios, one of the premier computer animation studios and producer of Weaver's films.

In 1982 Weaver worked for MAGI/SynthaVision, where he was a principal animator on the Disney film Tron, credited as an image choreographer. Some of her other works include Where the Wild Things Are (1983), Dinosaur Bob, George Shrinks, and Santa Calls. In 1998 she won an Academy Award for the short animated film, Bunny. She is also as well the "voice" of Columbia Torch Lady in Columbia Pictures and Columbia Pictures: The Meltdown [2] (http://www.syracuse.com/living/poststandard/index.ssf?/base/living-2/1162461401265550.xml&coll=1).
