Shaw Festival

From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.

The Shaw Festival is a major Canadian theatre festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Founded in 1962, its original mandate was to produce plays written by George Bernard Shaw, or plays written in his lifetime (1856-1950). In 2000 the mandate was expanded to include plays set within that time period.
