Shark Trust
From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.
The Shark Trust is a charitable organization founded in 1997 that encourages the conservation of shark, and "promotes the international study, managment and conservation of sharks, skates and rays." The Shark Trust believes that many shark species have been put at risk by humans (it is estimated by some that 100 million sharks get killed every year by humans). The Shark Trust also makes an effort to prevent shark finning.
