When the excavation of the mineral is done with the help of the shaft then it is called as shaft mining. It is a method of excavation which is used for the underground mining. The shaft in general term is like a lift. This shaft is used for the transportation of minerals, equipments and workers. The internal structure of exacavation is the like floors that is called as level.
