In the fictional Star Wars universe, Sev'rance Tann was one of Count Dooku's Generals in the first few months of the Clone Wars. She led the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Geonosis, Tatooine, Sarapin and Krant.
During her campaign she was continuously tracked by the Jedi Master Echuu Shen-Jon and his apprentices. On Geonosis Sev'Rance Tann delayed a party of Jedi consisting of Ki-Adi-Mundi, Depa Bilaba, Plo Koon, Stam Reath and Echuu Shen-Jon whilst Dooku escaped to the hangar, slaying Stam Reath during the process.
She then took an army to Tatooine and destroyed a large Republic Trade Depot. In its stead she built a large Confederacy Fortress that was later destroyed by Echuu Shen-Jon and his padawan Naat Reath. Moving quickly she then travelled to a planet of the Outer Rim and retrieved plans for a powerful weapon being developed by the Republic. With the newly built Decimators, Sev'Rance Tann headed to the Republic world of Sarapin, where the majority of the Republic's energy was produced. With a large army and the Confederacy's new weapon she quickly took over the planet and killed the Twi'lek Jedi General Jor Drakas in a ferocious lightsaber duel.
Sev'Rance Tann was then assigned to oversee a Decimator project on Krant. Echuu Shen-Jon arrived on the planet with a strike force of clone troopers teamed up with a stranded army of Wookiees to raze the Decimator facility to the ground. Cornered in a hangar bay General Tann took Naat Reath captive and fled to the other side of the planet.
Master Echuu pursued and consumed by the dark side killed Sev'Rance Tann. General Grievous then took her place as the public face of the Confederacy Army.
