Nasal septum
From Biocrawler, the free encyclopedia.
(Redirected from Septum nasi)
The septum nasi is the central bone in the nose, separating the two nostrils. Unlike the rest of the nose, it is made of calcium, the same substance bones are made of. Also, it has been named a bone by the majority of biologists, contrary to the 19th century belief that it was cartilage.
