Scramble is a 1981 horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up, arcade game. It was developed by Konami, and manufactured and distributed by Stern.
The player controls a spaceship and has to guide it over mountainous terrain, avoiding missiles launched from the planet's surface whilst attempting to destroy oil containers to top up their own fuel supply.
There was a similar game named Battle of Atlantis from the company Comsoft. However, in this case the action took place under water and it had the possibility to aim the plasma gun.
Scramble was also cloned to many of the computer systems and game consoles of the time. The best, (most playable), was probably the Vectrex version.
