Scott Barrie

Scott Barrie, (born March 10, 1962) is a Scottish Labour Party politician and former social worker. He represents Dunfermline West in the Scottish Parliament, and is a member of the Communities Committees of the Parliament and Chief Whip for the Labour Group of MSPs.
Prior to being elected to the Scottish Parliament, Scott was employed by Fife Council in the social work department. He also represented the Dunfermline Central ward on Dunfermline District Council.
Scott Barrie is not to be confused with Barry Scott, seller of legendary cleaning product Cillit Bang
Scott is a graduate of Edinburgh University (MA), Stirling University (CQSW) and Dundee University (Diploma in Child Protection Studies).
