Ryslinge municipality

Ryslinge municipality, a municipality in central Denmark, in the county of Funen.
The municipality covers an area of 82 km², and has a total population of 6,924 (2005). Main city and site of municipal-council, is Ryslinge.
By January 1, 2007 Ryslinge municipality will cease to exists as it will combined with Faaborg, Broby, Aarslev and Ringe municipality to form a new Faaborg-Midtfyns municipality.
Formed in 1970 from the following parishes;
- Gislev Sogn (Gudme Herred)
- Kværndrup Sogn (Sunds Herred)
- Ryslinge Sogn (Gudme Herred)
