A runaway bride is a bride who runs away from the wedding chapel, usually shortly before the ceremony. It may refer to several things:
- Runaway Bride, a 1930 movie starring Mary Astor.
- Runaway Bride, a 1999 movie starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.
- Jennifer Wilbanks is a runaway bride from Duluth, Georgia who received national media attention after disappearing in May 2005. When she returned with the national spotlight on her, she falsely claimed to have been kidnapped. It prompted a widely-critiqued media circus.
- Several books use "runaway bride" in their titles, usually romance novels.
