The Red-toothed shrews or Soricinae are one of two subfamilies of the shrew family Soricidae, the other being the White-toothed shrews or Crocidurinae.

The outer layer of their teeth is reddish and is known to contain iron deposits. These species are typically found in North America, Europe and northern Asia.
