A pulmonary agent (or choking agent) is a chemical weapon agent designed to impede a victim's ability to breathe, resulting in suffocation.
Examples of pulmonary agents include:
- chlorine gas
- chloropicrin (PS)
- diphosgene (DP)
- phosgene (CG)
