Paul Stamets

Paul Stamets (born July 17, 1955) is a mycologist and an occasional mushroom aficionado. He has written numerous books and papers on the subject of mushroom identification and cultivation. He has a particular interest in the hallucinogenic Psilocybin mushrooms, and has produced a guide book to them, Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World.
His website Fungi Perfecti sells mushroom growing kits, spawn and cultures of gourmet and medicinal varieties (not Psilocybin mushrooms).
