Pangong Tso

Pangong Tso is a lake in the Himalayan region at the height of about 4500m. It is 134 km long and extends from India to Tibet. The width is merely 8 km at its broadest point. In winter, the lake gets completely frozen despite being salty.
Pangong Tso can be reached by road in couple of hours from Leh. The road passes through the third highest pass of the world, Changla pass.
