Ovalle, Chile

On 1821 the city of Ovalle was founded. One of the reasons for the foundation of this city was the existence of a nucleus of settlers of already more than three thousand inhabitants. One remembered give the name him of Ovalle in honor to late vice-president Jose Tomás Ovalle Bezanilla. Today it belongs to IV the Region and he is capital of the province of Limarí.
