Order of the New Templars

The Order of the New Templars was formed on December 25, 1907. Its founder was Lanz von Liebenfels. The order was the first to use the swastika in an "Aryan" meaning, and they included it on their flag, a yellow-orange flag with a red swastika facing right, with four fleurs-de-lys above, below, to the right and left of the swastika. It is said that they had their headquarters at Castle Werfenstein, Austria. It is not known when the order ceased to exist, but it is believed to be somewhere around the end of World War 2.
