Norwegian Institute of Marine Research

The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research (IMR) is a Norwegian governmental institution carrying out marine research. IMR is also producing resource assessments, doing resource analysis and giving management advices on commercially exploited marine species. The institute has offices in Bergen (head office) and Tromsø, with research stations in Matre, Austevoll and Flødevigen (Arendal).
