The chemical compound nickel(II) chloride (often called just nickel chloride) is an inorganic salt of formula NiCl2. It is applied as catalyst in chemical reactions, like aluminium chloride. It is also used for electroplating.

This chemical compound is water soluable at a rate of 254g/100ml at 20°C, and deliquescent.

Nickel salts are carcinogenic. Wear gloves and goggles.
