Data from Statistics Norway (http://www.ssb.no/english/municipalities/0216)

Nesodden is a municipality in the county of Akershus, Norway.

Nesodden is located on the tip of the peninsula between main Oslofjord and its arm Bunnefjorden. It includes the villages Fjellstrand, Bjørnemyr, Nesoddtangen, and Fagerstrand, which is also the name of a reality show that was filmed on Fagerstrand and aired on TV 2 during the first half of 2005. Nesoddtangen has ferry connections to Asker, Bærum and Oslo.

A curious fact about Nesodden is that the Russian communist leader Leon Trotsky boarded the tanker there that would take him to Mexico and his death by one of Stalin's assassins.
