Nancy Soderberg

Nancy Soderberg is a leading foreign policy strategist who has held several senior level positions in the Clinton Administration and whose book, The Superpower Myth: The Use and Misuse of American Might, is the subject of intense discussion in policy making circles within the United States.

Soderberg was the third highest ranking member of the U.S. Delegation to the United Nations where she served as U.S. Representative for Special Political Affairs. She is an expert on Northern Ireland where she negotiated a peace treaty with the Irish Republican Army and in the use of international peacekeepers. She also served as Deputy Director of President Clinton's national security transition in 1992.

She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University.
