Mytilene

This city is not ot be confused with a village in the island of Samos named Mytilinii
Mytilene (Μυτιλήνη in Greek) is the capital city of Lesbos, a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It has a population of 32,000.
The 2000 Olympic champion in the 200-meter run, Konstantinos Kenteris, is a native of the city.
