Muvattupuzha

Muvattupzuha is a medium size town situated north-east of Ernakulam (Cochin) City, Kerala state, India. It is famous for being a town with three rivers joining to form Muvattupzuha. It is an important town in central Kerala, India. It lies between Thrissur and Kottayam. The people are very cordial here,is a semi-cosmopolitan town.It was the capital of "Vadakkumkoor Rajas." The town got its name because the three rivers(puzha) kothapuzha,kaalyar and thodupuzha join to form "Muvattupzuha."nearby towns are kothamangalam,Thodupuzha,Perumbavoor.The majority are making a living with agriculture and small industries.
