Most Serene Republic

The term Most Serene Republic is a name used for two former countries and a style for one current one:
- Republic of Venice, city-state that existed in Italy from 9th century until 18th century.
- Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, an elective monarchy in Eastern Europe, existing from 1569 until 1795.
- The Most Serene Republic of San Marino, a current independent state wholly surrounded by Italy.
