The M45 SLBM is the French Navy's submarine launched ballistic missile. In French terminology the MSBS - Mer-Sol-Balistique-Strategique (Sea-ground-Strategic ballistic missile)
Each missile carries six independently targetable TN-75 thermonuclear warheads.
The missiles, developed from the M4 is produced by Aerospatiale (now EADS SPACE Transportation.)
