Kon Kan

Kon Kan was a band from Toronto, Canada who had a hit in 1989 with "I Beg Your Pardon", which sampled Lynn Anderson's "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden". Their name is a parody on the Canadian radio law "CanCon", which states that 30 per cent of songs played on commercial radio stations in Canada must be Canadian in origin.
