Kirlia, known in Japan as Kiruria (キルリア) is a Psychic Pokémon from the Pokémon series of games. It is listed as Pokémon #281 in the National Pokédex, and #030 in the Hoenn Pokédex.

Name origin
Kirlia is named for Semyon Davidovich Kirlian, a Russian scientist who conducted research into human psychic ability and other supernatural phenomena.
Availability
Kirlia must be evolved from a level 20 Ralts. Ralts can only be captured in the wild in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire or Pokémon Emerald; a trade must be peformed in order for a Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen and/or Pokémon Colosseum player to obtain one.
Information
Kirlia's brain is very highly developed. It uses psychokinetic power, which it amplifies by using its horns. When Kirlia uses its power, the air around it becomes distorted, creating mirages of nonexistent scenery. Kirlia's appearance and mood are heavily determined by the mood of its trainer. If the trainer is cheerful and happy, Kirlia will also be happy, and will spin and dance. The happier the trainer is, the more beautiful Kirlia will become.
Kirlia closely resembles a ballet dancer; it stands on tip-toes at all times, and in Pokémon Colosseum, it performs several ballet techniques while using its moves. It wears a white dress over its torso, and its face is white also. It has green hair that covers the front of its face, and also extends down slightly past its shoulders. It has two red, semicircular horns that jut out from either side of its head. Its eyes are red.
